African Ministers and Senior Water Educators visit Thailand

A study visit by two education ministers and senior education administrators from Africa to Thailand has further strengthened UN-HABITAT’s cooperation with the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) and the Government of Thailand.
Values-Based Water Education gains Momentum in West and Central Africa

A Training of Trainers workshop in Values-based Water Education was held in Dakar, Senegal from 12-14 May 2004 to show education experts from Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Mali, Niger and Senegal the most appropriate approaches to introducing water, sanitation and hygiene into the existing school curriculum.
