UN-HABITAT’s training workshops are experimental, interactive and oriented towards behavioral change through self-reflection and action planning. The learning tools and methods ensure group interaction, inquiry and learning by doing. Most training sessions last five days. Between three and four regional Training of Trainers (ToTs) are offered by UN-HABITAT every year. Participant numbers in a single workshop range between 15-20 persons. Workshops are kept deliberately small to ensure maximum involvement and impact.
To this date, the Training and Capacity Building Branch has carried out ToTs in a number of regions worldwide.
