John is a youth leader and peace activist. He currently runs the Global Citizens for Sustainable Development (GCSD), a not-for-profit organization based in Bangalore. GCSD focuses on youth leadership, youth empowerment, peace and culture, environment and other social development issues. In 2010, he was awarded the Honorary title of Millennium Development Ambassador by the Sri Lanka United Nations Friendship Organization. John also runs the Vedike Eco-Residential School and the Global Living and Learning Center. The Centre’s primary focus is to  address issues related to migrant workers' children and rural to urban migrant communities. John enjoys his work in social activism but also loves teaching and facilitating thematic sessions.
