The Economic and Social Council will hold a panel discussion on "Civil Society Perspectives on the Financing for Development Agenda" in preparation for its Special high-level meeting with the Bretton Woods institutions, the World Trade Organization and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (New York, 27 April 2009) on Monday, 20 April 2009, from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Economic and Social Council Chamber.

In Kenya, the celebrations were organized by UN HABITAT in collaboration with the Nairobi Area Youth Workers Network, One Stop Youth Resource Centre, Universal Peace Federation, The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and City Council of Nairobi.
