UN-Habitat delivers training for local government institutions in Uraguay

UN-Habitat, in partnership with the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) has delivered important training for local government training institutions in the Latin America and the Caribbean region.  20 participants attended the event from municipal organizations, NGOs, universities and other institutions that provide training to local governments throughout the region. 
Assisting urban youth at risk in Latin America

The first tripartite African Caribbean and Pacific (ACP), European Commission and UN-HABITAT conference ended yesterday with a resounding call to the international community to pay greater attention to the issues of sustainable urbanization.
