UN-Habitat Evaluation Policy  
The UN-Habitat Evaluation Policy was developed and approved by the UN-Habitat Board in January 2013 and is an important step towards enhancing the evaluation function and ensuring independence, credibility and utility of UN-Habitat's evaluations. The policy describes the institutional framework for the effective conduct and management of UN-Habitat's evaluations, including roles and responsibilities of various partners. It provides principles, norms and standards for planning and conducting evaluations, and explains how evaluations will be prioritized, budgeted for and managed. It also highlights requirements for reporting, follow-up, including management responses, and disclosure

Guidelines for Environmental Assessment for UN-Habitat Activities  
These Guidelines have been developed to assist Agency's staff, consultants, partners and all those involved with UN-HABITAT programming to ensure that Environmental Assessment considerations are integrated into the UN-HABITAT project and programme cycle management. They address key areas including UN-HABITAT's stand on Environmental Assessment; procedural issues related to Environmental Assessment requirements; how and when to carry out the Environmental Assessment; appropriate levels of Environmental Assessment and what they are expected to achieve; monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the Environmental Assessment recommendations; and the overall integration of Environmental Assessment in UN-HABITAT programming.

Integrating Human Rights and Gender Equality in Evaluation - Towards UNEG Guidance  

This Handbook has been developed by United Nations Evaluation Group to be used as a tool to integrate human rights and gender equality into the practice of evaluation. It provides a step by step guidance on how to integrate human rights and gender equality throughout an evaluation process. The Handbook is the result of the UNEG's efforts to make available a practical tool for evaluators, evaluation managers, and programme managers both within and outside the UN system.
