| Mr Derek Martin at World Urban Forum 5 closing ceremony |
During the closing ceremony of the fifth session if the World Urban Forum in Rio de Janeiro, Mr. Derek Martin, former Chair of the Habitat Professionals Forum, made a statement besides several other UN-HABITAT Partners, on behalf of the Habitat Professionals Forum and its members .
He declared support of the HPF as one of the founding members of the World Urban Campaign's steering committee and committed to spreading the messages of the Campaign among the world’s architects, planners, engineers, surveyors and other professionals working in the urban sector.
The HPF's members have strongly participated in the preparation, launch and actual meetings of the World Urban Campaign. |
