Africa, Caribbean and Pacific Group of Countries
First joint conference of the Africa, Caribbean and Pacific Group of Countries (ACP) co-hosted by UN-HABITAT, the European Commission (EC) and the ACP Secretariat at the UN Headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya, 8 – 10 June 2009

This conference is the first joint initiative of the EC, the Brussels-based ACP Secretariat and UN-HABITAT.  Already, over 200 delegates from more than 50 countries are expected in Nairobi to discuss the challenges of urbanisation and poverty reduction for millions of slum dwellers in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific regions.
