He will present an overview of the GUIC approach and methods, summarize results from past GUIC sites, and outline current directions in the GUIC project, including how others can initiate a GUIC project in their community. Small group discussions will be initiated to discuss the different city themes outlined in the Child and Youth Friendly Cities discussion paper. This discussion will help shape a GUIC action research agenda that will become a key theme in the Road to Vancouver 2006.
