Note by the secretariat

The financial report and audited financial statements of the United Nations Habitat and Human Settlements Foundation for the biennium ended 31 December 1997 and the report of the Board of Auditors / were submitted to the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions (ACABQ) and the General Assembly. The General Assembly reviewed the financial statements, the report of the Board of Auditors and the report of ACABQ and adopted resolution 53/204 of 18 December 1998, accepting the financial report and audit opinions of the Board of Auditors. Annexed hereto for the attention of the Commission is the financial report and audited financial statements.
