Media Accreditation for the 23rd Session of the Governing Council All media correspondents attending the 23rd Session of the Governing Council need to pre-register online at www.unhabitat.org/gc23 Correspondents who already have a valid United Nations grounds pass for Nairobi or New York will not need additional accreditation when they arrive for the 23rd Session of the Governing Council. All others will be given a Governing Council badge at the Media Registration desk when they arrive at the the Gigiri UN complex. There is no charge to attend the 23rd Session of the Governing Council . To obtain media accreditation, you need to present valid press credentials including: - Letter of assignment on official letterhead of a media organization signed by the Publisher/Assignment Editor, Editor-in-chief or Bureau Chief, specifying the name and functional title of the journalist.
- Photocopy of a valid press card/work pass if applicable.
- Photocopy of photo ID e.g passport /national identification.
