SUD-Net will also establish linkages with existing regional networks and institutions that are already advancing sustainable urban development. Some of them are actively engaged in promoting national urban development and will make valuable contributions towards the activities of SUD-Net. This is also important in ensuring that key needs on the environmental management and other components of urban development from practitioners are captured in course materials or incorporated in the curricula of the educational system.

Regional Working Groups will be defined through the Regional Technical Cooperation Division (RTCD) offices, with the support of the Habitat Programme Managers. Any partnership agreements particularly with selected anchor institutions will be prepared and signed through SUD-Net Administration.
