The project 'Migrants' Inclusion in Cities: Innovative urban policies and practices' is a toolkit for local decision-makers providing guidelines and examples of good practices to improve the inclusion of international migrants in the city.
With this project, UNESCO and UN-HABITAT seek to support cities' efforts to develop more inclusive, creative and innovative urban policies and practices so as to achieve a better balance between economic development and social cohesion.

This project is being developed with the financial support of the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for Development (AECID). It has been drafted in close partnership with city networks, international experts and researchers, and UNESCO Chairs, especially the UNESCO Chair named "Social and Spatial Inclusion of International Migrants: Urban Policies and Practices" (SSIIM) at the University IUAV in Venice.
