17:00 Public Launch in Cuba of the UN-HABITAT Global Campaign on Urban Governance and Secure Tenure

Improving the management of our cities and our housing environment.

The launch is organized in one Havana neighbourhood called “Las Guasimas”. The campaign is launched by Cuban Government Officials and officials representing UN-HABITAT's Executive Director, Ms. Anna Tibaijuka. The launch is attended by a large crowd representing citizens, community organizations, local authorities and national government.

20:00 Cuban Dinner

The community from “Las Guasimas” hosts a dinner for meeting participants who have the opportunity to meet and exchange with the inhabitants of the neighbourhood and Cuban officials.
