Ulaanbaatar, 22 Apr 10

The USDĀ 5.8 million project is funded by the Government of Japan through the Japan International Cooperation Agency. Implementation by the Municipality of Ulaanbaatar, UN-HABITAT and Ministry of Road, Transport, Construction and Urban Development started last September in the Ger districts lying just beyond the conventional built-up area. Although the residents have security of tenure, infrastructure and basic urban services are scant. See here for details.
