There will be a Special Session for Civil Society being held on Wednesday, March 24th, 2010 from 14:00 - 16:00. This session will be the first regional forum of its kind and it will be duplicated at all subsequent World Urban Forums. The objective of the event is to give CSOs from different regions an opportunity to set up networks while also discussing region-specific sustainable urbanization issues. CSOs from other regions are encouraged to participate, to share ideas and initiatives, however the focus of the event will be on regional solutions. This year’s focus will be on Latin America.
