 Representatives of United Nations bodies participating in Expo 2010 will meet in Geneva March 26-27, 2009, for a briefing with officials from Shanghai which is hosting what promises to be one of the biggest and most glittering events of its kind ever held.
The Expo, scheduled to run for six months from May to October next year, will give each UN agency an opportunity to showcase its work on sustainable urban development. The Geneva meeting will enable all those involved to plan their events and make their needs known. Although it is just one part of Expo 2010, the United Nations Pavilion provides a very modern exhibition area, complete with a theatre for meetings, movies and much more. A virtual tour of this and other pavilions will be featured on Expo Online.
