Under the focal theme on Disaster Surgery Under Critical Environmental Conditions, the workshop aims to enhance surgical treatment during disaster relief.
A special focus will be set on clinical competency, but also on the need for evidence based controlling of intervention activities, on data collection and long-term perspectives and evaluation of intervention activities. Main outcome of the workshop shall be new guidelines for disaster surgery.
