UN-HABITAT, ESCAP and the Rockefeller Foundation are jointly preparing a Quick Guide on Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience in Urban Poor Communities in Asia-Pacific. The Quick Guide aims to provide a snapshot of the key issues regarding climate change adaptation and the different options to improve resilience to climate change impacts in urban poor communities. Please refer to the one-pager 'About the Quick Guide' for more information about the project.

To illustrate the messages of the Quick Guide, the partners would like to use examples of good practices of community-based climate change adaptation & resilience building measures throughout Asia and the Pacific. We are looking for both good practices that have been well documented, and for good practices that haven't been documented yet. The partners will select a number of such 'undocumented practices' to be documented in detail. ESCAP will work closely with local documenters, who will be remunerated for their contributions. For more details please see the background information and instructions in the attached Summary Questionnaire document.

If you know of any good practices that could fit in the context of the Quick Guide , kindly complete attached Summary Questionnaire and send it back to escap-edd-suds@un.org by 27 February 2012. Kindly also spread this call for Expressions of Interest throughout your network.
