The Inter-Communal Rural Development Project (IRDP) was created by mutual agreement between the Government of Afghanistan and the Government of Japan to develop the ability of Afghanistan Communities to identify, plan, manage and monitor their own development projects. Through the implementation of inter-communal based development projects, the Inter-Communal Rural Development Project will lay the foundation for a sustainable form of local governance, rural reconstruction and poverty alleviation in cluster communities. |
