Under the Monitoring and Research Division, the Partners and Youth Branch works to support, foster, maintain and monitor partnerships between UN-HABITAT’s Divisions/Branches/Sections/Units and external stakeholders in urban development – namely Civil Society, Private Sector and Government entities.
This includes facilitating dialogue between various stakeholders in global and regional forums, as well as helping the agency manage partnerships more effectively internally. In addition, it works with partners towards urban development by empowering youth to help their communities and supporting skills training/employment generation projects for young people.
