This project supports the cities of Marrakech, Meknes and Agadir to develop and implement Local Agendas 21. Local teams are located in Regional Inspectorates of the Ministry of Physical Planning and work in close cooperation with Municipal Councils.

World leaders gather at the Rio +20 grand opening

More than 100 Heads of State and government gathered on Wednesday for the opening of the United Nations Rio +20 Conference on Sustainable Development which seeks to shape new policies to promote global prosperity, reduce poverty and advance social equity and environmental protection.
