The Kingdom of Spain and UN-Habitat

Spain has been an active partner of UN-HABITAT for a long time. The Spanish Government, through the Ministry for Housing, has been supporting the Ibero-American Forum on Best Practices to improve the living environment since 1998. This collaboration has recently grown stronger, especially since the opening of the Best Practices Office in Spain in 2005 and the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to several of the UN-HABITAT lines of work during the past years
